Doesn't follow trends. Sets them.
The R 12 nineT does not follow role models. It is a style icon in its own right. Instantly recognisable from afar thanks to its authentic look with an unmistakable roadster "flyline". Up close, you recognise iconic details such as the round instruments, the chrome-plated manifold, the aluminium tank and the expressive, tubeless bicolour wheels. Hop on and make the road your stage. Your ride is accompanied by the unmistakable sound from the twin tailpipe exhaust system.
Do your own thing
Maximum design freedom, as standard. The backbone designed for customising with a classic tubular spaceframe, a flat suspension strut and a completely revised engine periphery provides the canvas for your own ideas. The modular concept is made for individualists like you. Bring your ideas to the road.
Boxer forever!
Many things have been updated, but the boxer engine stays the same - and delivers as always: Goosebumps from the get-go. Its unique punch has been thrilling fans for decades. With the three riding modes, you can choose your emotions depending on the situation and your mood. RAIN provides restrained throttle response and rapid traction control. ROAD is optimised for everyday riding and for relaxed country roads. With DYNAMIC, you utilise the full potential of the boxer engine and dial riding pleasure to the max. The dynamic engine brake control ensures maximum riding stability in every situation.
Space for your experiences
Relaxed yet dynamic on the move. This is ensured by the characteristic roadster ergonomics and equipment, such as ABS Pro and DTC. The classic tank shape and compact proportions result in an agile riding position, while the updated handlebar and footrest position contribute to the dynamic riding ergonomics. Enjoy your ride with a passenger on the partitioned bench seat. And with the optional single seater, you can ride solo in comfort.
Comfort without compromise
Got high standards? This roadster has you covered. With Keyless Ride, you can simply hop on and start riding. With the optional ConnectedRide Control, you can plug your smartphone into the mobile phone holder, pair it with your bike and easily find any route. The optional comfort package makes riding even more enjoyable, with features such as shift assistant Pro and grip heating.
